Ronald McDonald House Alberta supports families seeking vital medical treatment for their seriously sick or injured child. A Ronald McDonald House is an essential part of family-centred care, allowing families to stay close to the hospital and support each other. Programming and services delivered at a Ronald McDonald House elevate an entire family’s ability to have rest, respite, nutrition, and more, while undergoing the most challenging time in their lives. Virtual Lunch & Learn
Book a 30-minute, no-cost, virtual Lunch & Learn between March 14th & September 10th (minimum 10 attendees). Develop a greater understanding of the ways Ronald McDonald House Alberta supports families on a medical journey for their sick or injured child(ren). Learn more about the Alberta Houses, the communities we serve, and how we support families with a home-away-from-home.

Register a Team for our “Hustle for the House” Family Friendly Run
Join us with your team of 3+ friends as we celebrate the spirit of determination, resilience, and community with this family-friendly, athletic adventure where everyone can participate! Our in-person walk/run will be taking place on Sunday, September 27th, in the Calgary University District. This event includes a festival component as well, complete with entertainment, games, food, and activities for all ages.
Can’t make it in-person? We have wonderful virtual opportunities that allow you to participate and give back from wherever you are located! Between September 20th and 27th, your team can spread awareness by walking or running in your own neighbourhood. Be sure to send us pictures!

Home for Dinner
Volunteer for our Home for Dinner program and help provide a comforting meal for families staying at our Calgary House. After a long and emotional day at the hospital, a nourishing meal can make all the difference. 
Due to the recently increased capacity at Ronald McDonald House Calgary, donations to support the Home for Dinner experience will be necessary to ensure the sustainability of the program.
Groups will contribute a flat $1000 toward the cost of the meal. This donation provides volunteers with a much easier and more relaxed experience, as the modernized Home for Dinner program will be chef led. The chef will plan your menu, secure your groceries, and lead your group through an entire Home for Dinner experience that will feed upwards of 200 people staying at the Ronald McDonald House. This donation is also eligible for a tax receipt.
