Our goal is to reduce trauma, provide healing support, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Luna is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting nearly 3,000 children, youth, and families each year who are impacted by abuse. We bring together a highly specialized trauma informed team of law enforcement, medical professionals, child protection, victim support, and mental health specialists who are under one room to provide a coordinated, compassionate response.
With the complexity and severity of child abuse cases seen at Luna, support from our community is essential to continue providing these critical services. Whether through awareness, donations, or partnerships, every contribution helps to protect vulnerable children and give them hope for brighter futures.

2025 Giving Opportunities
Option 1: Exclusive Tour
Join us for an exclusive tour of Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre and witness Calgary’s coordinated response to child abuse firsthand. This guided experience offers an inside look at how Luna brings together law enforcement, medical professionals, therapists, and advocates under one roof to support children, youth, and families impacted by abuse. Through real-world examples and powerful stories, you’ll gain insight into the critical work being done to protect and empower children and youth who have experienced abuse.
Attend Tour of Luna at Corporate Night on either July 24, 2025, or August 14, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Email events@lunacentre.ca to secure your spot. Maximum 50 attendees per event. Minimum 10 people total for each event.
Option 2: Virtual Lunch & Learn
Join us for a Virtual Lunch & Learn and gain valuable insight into how Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre is transforming the response to child abuse in Calgary. You will learn how Luna brings together law enforcement, medical professionals, therapists, and advocates to support children, youth, and families impacted by abuse. This session will deepen your understanding for how Luna’s expertise reduces trauma, improves outcomes, and ensures brighter futures for vulnerable children and youth in our communities. Your participation helps strengthen the network of care for vulnerable children in our city. Grab your lunch, log in, and be part of the conversation that’s changing young lives.

Option 1: Run for a Reason – Join Team Luna at the SERVUS Calgary Marathon!
Lace up your runners and hit the pavement for Team Luna, with a minimum of 4 people from your company! Register your team for the SERVUS Calgary Marathon and run, walk, or wheel to support children and youth who have experienced abuse. Whether you're racing for a personal best or just in it
for the post-run snacks, every move you make helps raise awareness for Luna’s mission.

Option 2: Team Up & Make a Difference – Volunteer with Luna!
Gather your crew and volunteer as a team at one of Luna’s amazing events! Whether you're hitting the green at Luna’s Over the Moon Charity Golf Classic (June 12), bringing the energy at Luna’s tent at the SERVUS Calgary Marathon (May 24 & 25), or spreading cheer at Luna’s holiday musical revolution (November 22), your team’s support makes a huge impact. Volunteer roles include check-in, auction attendant, hole ambassador, cheerleader, usher, and more.

Option 3: Get Creative & Give Back – Host Your Own Event for Luna!
You can earn 2 points for this category! Host a fun and impactful event in support of Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre AND raise a minimum of $500! Whether it’s a Stampede BBQ, office bake sale, trivia night, 50/50 draw, hosting Luna’s Tip Tap unit or “Jeans on Friday” fundraiser, every dollar raised helps support children and youth who have experienced abuse. Donate Online: Luna Centre Donation
If your company is pooling individual employee donations to submit as a lump sum and your employees would like a tax receipt, we are happy to provide one.
To ensure accurate receipting, please send us a list of donor names, email addresses, and donation amounts with your donation, or encourage employees to donate directly through our online platform https://www.lunacentre.ca/donation-form where they will receive an automatic tax receipt. If employees prefer this, they can add the company's name in the comment field so we can attribute their gift to your company's total giving.
