Organization

Calgary Corporate Challenge is a non-profit corporate events company committed to encouraging fun, participation, inclusion, teamwork, and a healthy work-life balance. We organize year-round team-building and employee engagement events, but we are best-known for the September Games: 16 days of 22 Sports & Games for over 160 Calgary & Area companies every year.

Mission

To provide the Calgary and area community with professionally managed events that emphasize fun, encourage participation and promote positive teamwork, health and fitness, all while increasing morale and pride within organizations and the community.

Position

Calgary Corporate Challenge is seeking nominations for each of our six committees. This is an extremely rewarding volunteer opportunity and consists of a 1-year term, renewable at the committee’s discretion. Calgary Corporate Challenge has an annual operating budget of approximately $500,000+ and has 3 full-time staff members that report through the Executive Director to the Board of Directors.

Committee members are expected to attend all committee meetings (which take place at least quarterly) and to help determine the direction of the relevant committee’s strategy. Committee members may also be invited to events throughout the year to represent CCC to the organization’s members and/or the general public.

Calgary Corporate Challenge has an open hiring and recruitment policy, and we are committed to evolving diversity including but not limited to age, gender, and ethnicity.

All candidates interested in fulfilling the requirements for the duration of the elected term should submit a resume and cover letter via email to the relevant committee’s contact. If you have any questions, please email the contact directly.
