Amazing Race

All event registration will take place just behind the GMC Stadium (previously known as the Grandstand) at the Infield lot!

We, unfortunately, have no control over parking at the Stampede Grounds. There are many other, non-CCC related, events happening on the grounds at the same time, so they will be charging event parking and there's no guarantee you'll be able to get a parking spot on site. If you can carpool, take transit, or park close to the grounds and walk (or scoot) over, that might be your best bet!

Depending on the route you take, team members can expect to travel between 2.5-3.0 km on Race Day. Your team will have a maximum of 90 minutes to complete the course. Please check the schedule for your race start time.

Just about everything you need to complete the race will be supplied. However, your team will need to have AT LEAST one working cellphone with access to the internet. At least one team member needs to know how to scan and use QR codes. Your team will find it handy to have a clipboard or some other surface to write on. Backup writing instruments and an eraser may be useful. You may want to bring water as there will be no hydration stations as part of the course.

To complete the race, you will NOT need a compass, any maps or money. (However, you may have to pay for parking prior to the race.; consider carpooling or taking transit to the grounds).

Yes, medals will be awarded at the end of the event. The medal ceremony will take place in the Beer Garden.

Extra medals will not be given for events that do not have substitutes or alternates.
