Amazing Race

The Amazing Race takes place in Lot 10. There are multiple paid lots nearby. Visit UCalgary Parking to find out mare about available lots and rates. Whenever possible, plan ahead and carpool if you are able!

Depending on the route you take, team members can expect to travel between 2.5-3.0 km on Race Day. Your team will have a maximum of 2 hours to complete the course. Please check the schedule for your race start time.

Just about everything you need to complete the race will be supplied. However, your team will need to have AT LEAST one working cellphone with access to the internet. At least one team member needs to know how to scan and use QR codes. Your team will find it handy to have a clipboard or some other surface to write on. Backup writing instruments and an eraser may be useful. You may want to bring water as there will be no hydration stations as part of the course.

To complete the race, you will NOT need a compass, any maps or money. (However, you may have to pay for parking prior to the race.; consider carpooling or taking transit to the grounds).

Yes, medals will be awarded at the end of the event. The medal ceremony will take place in the Beer Garden.

Extra medals will not be given for events that do not have substitutes or alternates.
